At Cullen Community & Residential Centre, our small team works together to support local groups, deliver community projects, host visitors from around the world, and keep the centre running smoothly. This page explains who does what, so you always know the right place to go for support.

Here is an overview of the roles within our organisation

🏛️ TTKCA Board of Directors – Provides governance, strategic oversight, financial management, and long‑term planning for the centre and its projects. Focus: governance, strategy, oversight.

Director/Volunteer – Julie-Ann Drake – Promotions/Publicity

👥 Community Development Officer – Supports local groups, develops new community projects, and helps strengthen the long‑term future of the centre. Key areas include community engagement, project development (such as The Haven, Farmers’ Market, Hydroponics, Cuppa & Company), funding applications, partnership building, and delivery of the Community Action Plan. Focus: community development, project delivery, engagement, funding.

Employee – Sarah Murray

📅 Centre Administrator – Manages room bookings, enquiries, keys and access, scheduling, and day‑to‑day administrative support for centre users. Focus: operations, bookings, communication.

Employee – Catherine Cottom

☕ Haven Manager – Oversees The Haven café/play café space, supports early‑years activities, coordinates volunteers, and manages the day‑to‑day running of the café. Focus: hospitality, early‑years engagement, volunteer coordination.

Employee/Volunteer – Anne Welford

🧽 Hygiene Operative – Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the centre. Focus: cleanliness, safety, building presentation.

Employee – Ryan Ritchie

We also take care of the public toilets in Cullen, one being located in the square and the other being located at the beach and have volunteers that look after these.
