Amenities Group Appeal – Cullen Toilets

Last year Moray Council closed two of Cullen’s three public toilets. This had a major effect on local businesses and tourism in the town. Many visitors who would have stopped to use the toilets and then visited local shops and cafes, just drove away upon finding the toilets closed. Thousands of visitors, including young families and elderly folk have been inconvenienced by the closing of these toilets. The impact on our small community is huge. Moray Council plans to close the remaining public toilet Which would be a devastating blow for tourism in Cullen. The Cullen Amenities Group has a lease for the Beach Toilets. We hope that by many people making just a small donation, we can raise enough funds to run these toilets from April-October initially. We are also committed to seeing the Square Toilets open in time for the 2019 tourist season.

Please help! Funds raised will go towards cleaning costs, supplies of soap and toilet paper, water and sewage costs as well as the ongoing maintenance of public toilets in Cullen. Your support benefits us all <3
