Job Description

Post       Centre Administrator (Cullen Community and Residential Centre)

Permanent post with 3 months probationary period starting from date of appointment.

Salary                         Starting Salary £10.50p per hour.

Hours                          10-20 hours per week. Hours of work are flexible and can be negotiated with TTKCA Personnel Director, subject to the needs of the Centre.

20 days paid leave per annum plus 10 public holidays.

Responsible to TTKCA Personnel Director


The Three Kings Cullen Association is a company limited by guarantee and a registered Charity which runs Cullen Community and Residential Centre.

Charitable Purpose

  • To advance citizenship and community development.
  • To provide recreational facilities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the people for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.


  • To promote the Health and Well Being of all residents of the Cullen Community and neighbouring areas by providing education, recreational and Social activities which are both comfortable and accessible to all

The Three Kings Cullen Association

  • Provide accommodation and support for a wide variety of local community group activities.
  • Support the efforts of groups and individuals to bring about community improvement.
  • Provide residential accommodation for groups of all ages.

Purpose of Job

To provide administrative tasks and general centre organisation to support of the Association in pursuit of its charitable aims and purpose as stated above.

Main Tasks/Job Activities

  • Supporting the Treasurer in collecting and recording appropriate financial records
  • Attending to all office administration
  • Assisting with the production of material required by the Association
  • Liaising and supporting existing community groups
  • Arranging all residential and community bookings
  • Managing all Health and Safety routines and procedures in Centre buildings and campus.
  • Complying with other duties as required by the Board.

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to prepare and present written reports and information on behalf of the Association.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to set and achieve realistic targets and to manage own workload.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and to work empathetically with all Centre Users.
  • High standard of computer literacy and keyboard skills.


The post will be supervised by the member of the Board with delegated responsibility for Human resource matters. Transition support and training will be provided as required.
